Leah Lennox, PhD, LPC-MHSP

Dr. Leah Lennox is a licensed professional counselor (LPC-MHSP) specializing in disability-affirming care. She approaches this work as both a clinician and a person with lived experience of disability. That dual perspective shapes how she teaches: not disability as a diagnosis to manage, but the whole person to see, understand, and support.

Leah earned her master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University and her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of the Cumberlands. She now serves on the faculty there, teaching and training the next generation of counselors.

She is honored to teach with Groundwork Trauma Education, where her training helps clinicians provide disability-affirming care with skill, presence, and genuine respect for the whole person.
